Paddle with a Purpose is a dog-friendly event!
We couldn't imagine a Paddle with a Purpose without our dogs and we hope you don't either! Please bring your canine friends to enjoy the paddle and party. Lucy and Kellen could always use a few more hundred friends! As much as we love all of the other four legged buddies, only dogs are allowed. A few other rules apply: - Dog owners MUST be registered for the water portion of the event and NOT only attending the party.
- One dog per adult participating in the water portion of the event.
- All dogs should be under control of their owners at all times and on a leash 6' or shorter.
- May only be off leash when in the boat.
- No retractable leashes permitted!
- All dogs must be current on all vaccinations and be wearing a current rabies tag.
- Owners should bring "doggie baggies" and dispose of dog waste in a "doggie baggie" and place the bag in a proper receptacle. This applies to ANYTIME and ANYWHERE during the event. Please help keep our event clean!
- No aggressive dogs. Dogs should be socialized with people and other animals prior to event.
- No dogs under six months of age.
- Female dogs in heat not permitted.
- No dogs with open sores permitted.
- A waiver will be required to be completed for the dog at the registration table. (Click here to view the waiver.)
- We reserve the right to remove from Paddle with a Purpose any dog, based on the judgment of our staff, for any reason.
